During the season when top-tier vehicles hit the market, Nissan’s Frontier truck makes its debut with a warm welcome. Offering strength and utility without full size truck footprint and efficient fuel; this mid-size truck has a powerful V6 engine, a maximum towing capability of 6,600 pounds, two bed lengths (short or extended), two cab designs (extended or crew), and a number of optional active safety features. When the moment arrives to transport a complete load, tow your PWCs, or just kick up some roost, the Frontier stands prepared.
The mid-size Nissan Frontier is newer and significantly less expensive than Nissan’s full-size Titan, while being less powerful than it. Comes in seven trim options S, SV, PRO-X, PRO-4X, SL and HARDBODY EDITION which fits according to preferences.
With its rear-wheel drive system, the Frontier gets 18 mpg in cities and 24 mpg on highways. When four-wheel drive is installed, these figures drop to 17 mpg in urban areas and 22 mpg on freeways. A 2022 Nissan Frontier Pro-4X obtained 20 mpg in our extensive testing, which included a 75 mph interstate route.
Nissan has provided interior design and materials that is a big improvement over few years. In addition to introducing more contemporary features, Nissan enhanced its interior with snazzier trim pieces and much-needed soft-touch surfaces. With a bigger 7.0-inch color display and heated front seats and steering wheel as options, the Frontier is more appealing. Regarding comfort in the seat, Nissan’s plush Zero Gravity seats still give your posteriors great support.
Nissan offers an extensive range of appealing aesthetics to complement the design of its midrange truck. With an array of colors available, from enduring classics like Glacier White and Super Black to more vibrant options like Bluestone Pearl and Tactical Green Metallic, your Papillion journey gets an added dash of excitement.
Some big upgrades are coming in 2024! The opulent SL trim, which comes with improved LED lighting features as standard, leather upholstery, and a high-end 10-speaker Fender music system, is now available on the Frontier. But the Hardbody Edition model, which takes its cues from the legendary Nissan Hardbody pickup truck of the 1980s, steals the show. In keeping with the Frontier’s history, this version features retro stylistic cues including unique wheels, body decals, and a sport bar affixed to the bed.
The starting price for this truck is $32,020 and goes up to $42,095 depending on the trim and options. Value-conscious consumers may find that its cheap starting price and included amenities shine just as brightly as its LED headlights.
